The exhibition is featuring a stellar collection of India’s most distinguished modernists, such as Maqbool Fida Husain, Francis Newton Souza, and Sayed Haider Raza, alongside iconic works by Ram Kumar, Krishen Khanna, Sakti Burman, Ramkinkar Baij, and Himmat Shah. The Gallery is also showcasing outstanding luminaries from that period including Ghulam Rasool Santosh, Bimal Das Gupta, Sadanand Bakre, Haku Shah, Abdul Aziz Raiba, B. Prabha, B. Vithal, Laxma Goud, Sankho Chaudhuri, and Abdul Rahim Appa bhai Almelkar.
By showcasing their art, the gallery is not only honoring their enduring legacy but also facilitating an insightful exploration of the evolution of Modern Indian Art.
