May 20: Supermodel turned actress Neelam Lohar is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the song ‘Mehfil’ from the Independent Bollywood music album ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’!
Mehfil is a contemporary Bollywood classic song that is a tribute to the eternal and ethereal beauty of Rekha from her movie ‘Utsav’.
When this song was offered to Neelam, she knew it would be a very tough song to perform, taking it up as a challenge she did her best to express each and every word. As an artist, Neelam really enjoyed the journey of making this happen.
Neelam has always idolized and performed like Rekha since her schooling days and has matured over the years through her performance in multiple theatres and dances. Her participation in over 500 fashion shows Nationally has made her face familiar with the locals and the industry. To her, Rekhaji is the epitome of beauty and sensuality.
“I am grateful to the entire team of ‘Boss India Entertainment ‘, our Music director Mr. Shailendra Singh, Music composer Anjana Ankur Singh, Singer Arpita Chakraborty, and my mentor Mr. Lovell Prabhu for the wonderful opportunity given to me. I hope the Audience like my song and the video.” says Neelam.
Best wishes to ‘Golden Girl’ for her new journey from small town to B-Town!
